Feilding Christmas Parade 2011
Braving the sunshine and wind we headed over to Friendly Feilding for their Christmas Parade.
Upon arriving we found the weather to be just gorgeous, sunshine with a slight breeze which kept everything at a bareable temperature.
The parade kicked off at 2pm from it's starting point, being located near the end of the parade route we were there for about an hour, but the parade itself appeared to have lasted around 3/4 of an hour.

After a lot of hunting and invalid links, I have finally managed to track down a list of the participants in this years Christmas Lights in Palmerston North.
Each year a large portion of the region venture out to view each entrants light display around their home. It's always a blast for the kids, not only to they get to stay up late but they get to enjoy the festive season.

We bit the bullet and went to watch the Palmerston North Christmas parade this afternoon.
The weather turned out nice and sunny so we thought we'd find ourselves a nice shade spot in the square.
Seemed to be a pretty good public turnout from looking around, although we did over hear a lot of comments that the change of route was not well publicised. The Palmerston North City council and even our local news paper could have defenatley done a better job on that one.
