Motorcycle riders of New Zealand. Now is your chance to get seen and heard over the proposed ACC changes that our Government is trying to impose on us.
There is a proposed protest ride to take place on Tuesday 17th November 2009 to converge on Parliament at around 12pm.
From various sources I have found it would appear that there is a couple meeting points around Wellington on the 17th of November.
One is outside the Police College in Porirua, the other is at the duckpond in Avalon Park, Lower Hutt.
According to one source, the two groups will leave within 2 minutes of each other at around 11.30am in order to converge at the Ngauranga interchange where SH 1 and SH 2 meet.

Aha, the government once again makes promises about a vote on MMP, I for one welcome a binding referendum, even though it may take another number of years to happen. I just hope this time they give US the choice of WHAT we vote for, the last time they loaded the dice, and presented only the two options they (the Govt) wanted, where as many of us want stv (single trasferrable vote) so you actually choose your second choices.
